Massimiliano Ferrara is a Professor of mathematical economics at Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria, Reggio Calabria, Italy, where he is Vice Rector, actually. Ferrara has been Research Affiliate at ICRIOS, Bocconi University, Milan, Italy, since 2013. He was the Founder and Director of MEDAlics and Vice Rector at “Dante Alighieri” University of Reggio Calabria. He was also a Visiting Professor at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA; Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD, USA; Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI, USA; and New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, NJ, USA. He is Editor and Coeditor of several international journals and Member of the Mathematical Association of America and of the Indian Academy of Mathematics, Indore, India. He is the author and coauthor of original papers on peer-reviewed and ISI journals: 180 papers and 8 research monographs. His main research interests are nonlinear analysis, dynamical systems, patterns of growth and sustainable development, mathematical economics, game theory, optimization theory, and applied economics.
