Eric Campos was born in Mineral de Pozos in San Luis de la Paz Guanajuato, Mexico. He received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering from the University of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, in 1995, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the same university in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He was a Research Professor at the University of San Luis Potosi from 2003 to 2011, and since 2011, he has been a Research Professor at the Instituto Potosino de Investigacion Cientifica y Tecnologica. He has been a Senior Lecturer at the Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosi and the University of the Center of Mexico. He is the author of more than 35 research publications including research journals, books, and conferences proceedings. His research interests are the analysis of dynamical switching systems for generating multiple scrolls and the study of dynamical structures for the chaotic computation in electronic circuits.
