Vincenzo Canzonieri

Vincenzo Canzonieri received his M.D. degree from the School of Medicine at the University of Catania. He attended the residency in anatomic pathology at the University of Padova, the residency in general oncology at the University of Catania, and the residency in forensic medicine at the University of Udine. He obtained a Mini-MBA in sanitary management at the University Bocconi in Milan. From 1999 to 2004, Dr. Canzonieri worked as a Consultant Pathologst at the CRO Aviano Cancer Center, National Cancer Institute in Aviano Italy. From 2005 to 2009, Dr. Canzonieri became a Director of the Pathology Department at the Aviano Cancer Center and Deputy Director of the Department of Laboratory Diagnostics and Cell Therapy and, from 2010 to 2011, is Codirector of Pathology Department and Responsible of the BioBank of Aviano Cancer Center. responsible of the Molecular Diagnostic Pathology from 2005 to 2009. He works as a Professor of anatomic pathology course of Nursing University of Udine. He was teaching in postintegrative education at the School of Specialization in Oncology University of Udine. Canzonieri was responsible of the following research projects: Submission European Research project IPA- Adriatic Cross Border Cooperation 2007-2013, Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional funding 2010-2013 project: Campagna di Screening del Carcinoma della Cervice Uterina a Rosso Mauritania, Integrazione delle Attività di Ricerca Attraverso la Costruzione di Strutture e Reti di Collaborazione Interistituzionali - Rete Nazionale Telepatologia (TESEO), and ISS-CRO: Ruolo delle Fosfoproteine nella Chemioresistenza delle Cellule Staminali Tumorali con Analisi Comparativa Immunofenotipica. He is a Member of the Italian Society of Anatomic Pathology and a Member of Italian Sarcoma Group. Dr Canzonieri has authored numerous scientific articles and participated, as Invited Speaker, at many national and international congresses.
