Loredana G. Marcu

Loredana Marcu received her Ph.D. degree in medical physics/radiobiology from the University of Adelaide, Australia. She serves as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science, University of Oradea, Romania, having an affiliated position with the University of Adelaide. Currently, she works as a Senior Medical Physicist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. She has published and edited several books on physics and medical physics based on a vast teaching and research background. She was awarded the title “Eminent Scientist of the year 2004” by the International Council for Research and is the recipient of the “Boyce Worthley award 2006” given by the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine for her achievements in the areas of radiobiology and medical physics.
