Anna Karczewska

Anna Karczewska received an M.S. degree in mathematics from Warsaw Technical University, Warsaw, Poland; a Ph.D. degree in mathematics (with distinction) from Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland (1998); and a Habilitation degree (in some countries known as D.S.) in mathematics from University of Zielona Góra, Zielona Góra, Poland (2009). She served as an Assistant Professor with the Institute of Mathematics, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Lublin, Poland, till 2000, and next as an Assistant and Associate Professor with the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Econometrics, University of Zielona Góra, till 2010. At present she is a Professor at the same university with the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Econometrics. Her research fields include probability theory, stochastic equations, Volterra integral equations (deterministic and stochastic), Navier-Stokes equations, and nonlinear partial differential equations of KdV.
