Galia Gat-Yablonski

Galia Gat-Yablonski completed her B.S. degree (cum laude) in agronomy engineering and agriculture at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, in 1983. She pursued her studies at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, receiving her second degree in 1986 and a Ph.D. degree in 1991 and continuing as a Postdoctoral Fellow there until 1994. Since 1994, she has worked as a Scientist in the QBI Ltd Company and later as a Research Associate at the Sheba Medical Center until 2000. Presently, Gat-Yablonski is the Director of the Molecular Endocrinology and Diabetes Laboratory, the Schneider Children's Medical Center, affiliated to the Tel Aviv University. She has been a Member of the Israel Endocrine Society since 2000. She is mainly interested in the genetics of pediatric endocrinology diseases, focusing especially on growth abnormalities. She has been awarded numerous research grants and is a reviewer for several scientific journals.
