Dr. Francesco Doglietto is currently staff neurosurgeon at the Institute of Neurosurgery of the Catholic University School of Medicine in Rome, Italy. His main clinical and research interest is Neuro-Oncology and in particular Skull Base Surgery. He obtained a Clinical Fellowship in Neuro-Oncology and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Toronto under Dr Gentili’s guidance. His main basic research interest is the preclinical, anatomical development and evaluation of neurosurgical approaches, instruments and educational tools. He obtained a PhD in Neuroscience discussing a thesis on “Quantification of endoscopic and microscopic approaches to the skull base –Towards quantification of surgical maneuverability?”.
