Guobing Zhou

Guobing Zhou received his Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2005, and then he spent two years of postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. Then, he joined North China Electric Power University, Beijing, China (since 2007). Now, Dr. Zhou is a Professor at the School of Energy, Power and Mechanical Engineering at the same university. From 2009 to 2010, he worked as a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA. His present research interests mainly focus on solar thermal storage, particularly by phase change materials, in buildings; fluid flow and heat transfer in HVAC and R system and equipment; and simulation in energy efficient buildings.
