Horacio Rostro Gonzalez

Horacio Rostro-Gonzalez received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering from the ITC in 2003 and a M.E. degree with honors in electrical engineering from the University of Guanajuato in 2006, both in Mexico and the D.S. degree in computational neuroscience from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, Nice, France in 2011. From 2011 to 2012, he also was a Research Fellow at the University of Cyprus, where he mainly worked on the FP7 EU SCANDLE Project. Since May 2012, he is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronics in the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. He has authored 20 journals and conferences proceeding papers. His research interests include reconfigurable electronics (FPGAs), computational neuroscience, bioinspired algorithms, parallel computing, and signal processing.
