Gonzalo Carracedo

Gonzalo Carracedo obtained a Ph.D. degree in 2010 with the thesis titled “Objective Molecular Biomarker of Dry Eye.” Carracedo is an Associate Professor of optometry and contact lenses at Optics and Optometry Faculty at Complutense University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, and is the author of 50 papers in peer-review journals, over 200 communications to international meetings, and 3 patents related to dry eye, contact lenses, keratoconus, and myopia control. He has participated in 26 projects related to ocular surface, contact lenses, and ocular hypertension and is the codirector of the research group “Ocupharm Diagnostics.”
