Lorna Kwai-Ping Suen serves currently as an Associate Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. She received both her Bachelor of Nursing and M.P.H. degrees from the University of Sydney, Australia, while she obtained her Ph.D. in nursing from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her specialization and research interests are complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), auriculotherapy, gerontology, and sleep studies. She has extensive experience in conducting randomized controlled trials using magnetic pellets for auriculotherapy in the clinical treatment of insomnia in the elderly, low back pain, constipation, and uncontrolled hypertension. She is also interested in investigating the predictive value of auricular diagnosis.
