Santolo Meo received B.S. and M.S. degrees with honors from FEDERICO II University of Naples, Naples, Italy, where currently he is an Associate Professor. His research is directed to the field of power electronics, control of electrical drives, and energy conversion for renewable energy applications. Professor Meo has been the thesis supervisor of about 100 theses in power electronics for students of Master of electrical degree and Ph.D. students. He is an international supervisor and foreign examiner for the evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis for many European and Indian universities. He is the author of over 120 publications in scientific journals and proceedings of international conferences in the field of power electronics. He is Editor-In-Chief of the Scientific Committee of the international journal entitled International Review of Electrical Engineering (IREE). He is Editor-In-Chief of the Scientific Committee of the international journal entitled International Review on Modeling and Simulations. He is a Member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal on Energy Conversion (IRECON). He is a Reviewer of the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics. He is a Reviewer of the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics. He is a Reviewer of the journal Renewable Energy published by Elsevier. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Competence Center of the Campania Region TEST (Technology, Environment, Safety, and Transport). He is a Member of the Board of Directors of ADISU FEDERICO II (Campania Region), for the education claim. He is a Member of the Academic Senate of the University of Naples Federico II. He has been and is responsible for numerous consulting agreements on issues related to the use of renewable energies.
