Dieter M. Drexler

Dieter M. Drexler received his Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry in 1995 at the University of Ulm, Germany. He then joined BASF AG in Research Triangle Park, NC, USA, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to investigate pesticide analysis in soil and water utilizing GC-MS, GC-AED, and LC-MS. In 1997, he moved to Finnigan Corporation in San Jose, Calif, USA, as a Product Specialist for ion trap and triple quadrupole mass spectrometers supporting research and marketing. Since 1999, he has been at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, Wallingford, Conn, USA and is currently the laboratory manager for MS support for discovery chemistry and biology. His work includes the qualitative and quantitative analysis of endogenous and exogenous small and large molecules in various matrices utilizing a variety of analytical techniques.
