Ge Guo

Ge Guo is currently a Professor at the School of Information Science and Technology, Dalian Maritime University. He received the B.S. degree in automation and Ph.D. degree in control theory and engineering from Northeastern University, Shenyang, respectively, in 1994 and 1998. He joined Lanzhou University of Technology (LUT), China, in 1999, where he was an Associate Professor and Director of the Institute of Intelligent Control and Robots and Dean of the Department of Electric Engineering from 2000 to 2004. From July 2004 to May 2005, he was a Professor at LUT. Then he joined Dalian Maritime University, China, where he has been Professor at the Department of Automation. He also held a Visiting Researcher position at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2009 and 2010. His research interests include networked control systems, sensor networks, and vehicle control. He has published over 100 journal papers within these areas. Dr. Guo is the Managing Editor of International Journal of Systems, Control and Communications, the Associate Editor of Information Sciences, and an Editorial Board Member of Journal of Dalian Maritime University. He was the Honoree of the New Century Excellent Talents in Universities of China, in 2004, and was the nominee of Gansu Top Ten Excellent Youths, in 2005, from Gansu Province, China.
