Chandan Karmakar

Chandan Karmakar received the Doctor of Engineering degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia, in 2012. He was awarded prestigious Alfred Deakin Fellowship in 2015 and worked as Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and Deakin University. He is currently working as a Lecturer in Computer Science at the School of Information Technology, Deakin University, Australia. He has published one book and more than 100 peer-reviewed journals and conference articles in the research field of Biomedical Signal Processing, Bioinstrumentation, Physiological Modeling and Health Informatics. His research interests include signal processing (short length data), data analytics, sensor fusion and signal quality analysis with application areas across biomedical and health domains.
