Luis Miguel Rondón García


Luis Miguel Rondón García has a Ph.D. degree in psychology, degree in sociology, degree in social work, and an M.S. degree in analysis and international social intervention. Rondón García is the author of a monograph on family mediation, editor of two collective books, and editor of book chapters; he participated as an author in 20 book chapters with different publishers indexed in the following topics: social work and social policy, gender and equality, families, mediation, social practice, and interculturality. In addition to his presentations and communications at national and international conferences, Rondón García is the first author of 18 articles in national and international indexed journals on the following topics: family and intercultural mediation, transgender, social work ethics, elders, conflictology, social policy, and social work. He has been the principal director of three research projects in public calls of official organizations. He is the Coordinator of a research group, called Conflicts, Families, and Equality of the University of Granada, Granada, Spain. He has participated as a Researcher in eleven research projects of the European Union, Ministry of Education, and Social Affairs, and in the direction of doctoral theses, dissertations, and other research works. He was responsible for the direction of six doctoral theses of social work, direction of 10 M.S. theses, and 16 final projects of social work, mostly related to gender and social intervention. He is a teacher at the Universities of Granada, Málaga, Castilla-La Mancha, and UNED, Spain. He is the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Castilla-La Mancha. He is the Coordinator of International Relations and the Coordinator of the Area of Knowledge of Social Work and Social Services of the universities of Castilla-La Mancha and Málaga, and he is the Director of the Training and Employment Foundation.
