Hossein Kazemian

Hossein Kazemian has received his Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry in 1999. Since 1993 he has collaborated with several Iranian universities and research institutions as a faculty ranked Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor. He has supervised more than 30 Ph.D. and M.S. degree students as well as several R&D projects in different disciplines including chemistry, chemical, material, and environmental engineering. In 2009, he joined the UKM University in Malaysia as a Senior Research Scientist for 8 months and then joined the Western University (UWO) as a Research Scientist on October 2009. His main scientific interests are synthesis, characterization, and applications of porous nanomaterials as adsorbents, catalyst, and their applications in environmentally friendly processes and drug delivery. So far, he has published more than 300 scientific articles in the form of books, book chapters, patents, and papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He is serving as the editorial board member of several scientific journals and also as a member of scientific board for several international conferences.
