User Biography : Prof Muhammad Afzal Rana Muhammad Afzal Rana is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Riphah International University, Sector I-14, Islamabad, Pakistan. He received his doctorate in Mathematics from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2007. His research interests include the mathematical modeling of Newtonian/non-Newtonian fluid flows in various geometries, analytical and numerical techniques for the solutions of linear/nonlinear boundary value problems. His recent publications include Finite-Difference Methods for Partial differential Equations (Book, 2011), and many research papers about analysis of non-Newtonian fluid flows in different geometries. He is currently involved in teaching at under-graduate/graduate/post-graduate level and research activities.
