Jian-jun Yang

Jianjun Yang was born in Jiangsu Province, China, in 1971. He received the M.D. degree (Doctor of Medicine) and the Ph.D. degree from the Xuzhou Medical School and Nanjing University, in 1993 and 2005, respectively. In 1992, he was an Internship Anesthesiologist in the Shanghai 6th People’s Hospital. From 1993 to 2000, he was a Resident Anesthesiologist in the Jinling Hospital. From 2000 to 2006, he was an Attending Anesthesiologist and Assistant Professor in the Jingling Hospital. Since 2006, Yang has become an Associated Professor in Nanjing University. He was the Director in Neurosurgery Anesthesia from 2009 and was an Assistant Chairman in the Department of Anesthesiology, Jinling Hospital, Nanjing University from 2010. He joined some editorial boards of journals, for example, The Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology, Pharmaceutical and Clinical Research, Jiangsu Medical Journal, and Journal of Medical Postgraduates (Journals in Chinese). He was invited to review many manuscripts from the journals, including Acta Anaesthesiol Scand, J Neurosurg Anesth, J Neurosci Res, Neuropharmacology, Inflamm Res, and J Pharm Pharm Sci. He has published over 100 articles in Chinese and 43 science citation index (SCI) articles in English, including 29 SCI articles as first or corresponding author. He is proficient in clinical anesthesia skills and managements, especially in neurosurgery anesthesia, cardiovascular anesthesia, and epidural and/or spinal anesthesia.
