Jolanta Aleksejuniene was affiliated to University of Vilnius, Lithuania (1991-1997), Universitry of Oslo (1997-2005), Norway, and University of British Columbia (since 2005), Canada, and he acquired two research degrees from the University of Oslo, the M.S. degree in 1995 and the Ph.D. degree in 2001. During his academic career, he supervised 14 M.A. students, 5 Ph.D. scholars, 2 postdoctoral scholars, mentored 11 undergraduate research projects, and participated in 8 international collaborative projects. His areas of expertise are medical epidemiology, public health, prevention and management of oral disease, statistical modelling, research methodology, and recently theory-based behavioral interventions.
