Jackson Victor de Araújo

Dr. Jackson graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1985), MA in Parasitology, Federal University of Minas Gerais (1989) and PhD in Parasitology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1996). He is currently Associate Professor at the Federal University of Viçosa, co-leader and a researcher at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, employee discipline and co-advisor of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro and co-supervisor of doctoral UNESP-Botucatu. Has experience in the area of veterinary medicine, with emphasis on Preventive Veterinary Medicine. He has over 130 articles published in international journals, acting on the following topics: biological control, chemical control, nematophagous fungi, predatory fungus, nematode parasites of animals, Monacrosporium, predacious fungi, nematodes, Arthrobotrys, Duddingtonia, biological control, nematode-trapping fungi and fungi nematofagous. He was the coordinator of the Graduate Program in Veterinary Medicine, Federal University of Viçosa 2009 to 2011. He is currently head of the Department of Veterinary UFV with a mandate until 2015.
