Hou-Tsan Lee was born in Keelung, Taiwan. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, where he earned his Ph.D. degree also in electrical engineering. He worked as a quality engineer at Delta Electron from 1986 to 1988. Since 1988, he has been working at the Chunghwa Telecommunication Co. (CHT) as an engineer and then became a Supervisor. Dr. Lee now is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Information Technology, Takming University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Lee’s research is in the areas of nonlinear systems, hybrid control systems of multiple dynamic systems, data communication network systems and integration of wireless communication protocol design, and improvements of efficiency of communication networks systems and robotic systems. Previously, he has conducted research in the areas of adaptive control of servomechanics: induction motors, linear induction motors and real-time control, design and analysis of nonlinear control systems, and performance of communication networks.
