Domenico Mundo

University of Calabria, Italy

Domenico Mundo received his M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Calabria (Italy) in 1999. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in computational mechanics from the same university in 2004 with a dissertation on the design of noncircular gears. He is Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering at the University of Calabria (Italy), where he is currently teaching fundamentals of mechanism theory and dynamics of mechanical systems. His main research interests are vehicle dynamics, kinematics and dynamics of mechanical transmissions, mechanical vibrations, and optimal synthesis of planar mechanisms. He is Member of the Technical Committee for Linkages and Mechanical Control of IFToMM (International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science).
