Nelson Belzile

Nelson Belzile is an Analytical and Environmental Chemist with several years of experience in biogeochemistry and limnology. He has a B.S. degree in chemistry and an M.S. and a Ph.D. degrees in chemical oceanography. Currently, he serves as a Full Professor at Laurentian University, Sudbury. He is also an Invited Professor at Trent University, Peterborough, Canada, and at five Chinese universities. He has published more than 80 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals; most of them deal with the determination, speciation, and geochemistry of elements such as arsenic, selenium, and mercury and antimony in both marine and freshwater systems.
