Gary L. Trick
Gary L. Trick is Vice-Chairman for research, Director of the Division of Clinical Research and Epidemiology, Senior Staff Scientist and Director of the Visual Diagnostics Service in the Department of Ophthalmology and Eye Care Services at Henry Ford Health Sciences Center, Detroit, Mich, USA. Dr. Trick also is a Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at Wayne State University. Dr. Trick earned his B.A. degree in psychology in 1974 from the University of Miami and received his Ph.D. degree in physiological optics from Indiana University in 1978. He was a National Research Service Fellow in ophthalmology at the University of Florida in 1979 and 1980. He is a Fellow of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and is a Member of the International Society for Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision. Dr. Trick also is an Associate Member of the Association of University Professor's in Ophthalmology. Dr. Trick has served on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Neuro-Ophthalmology and Documenta Ophthalmologica and has been an author, Contributing Editor, or Reviewer for many other academic journals. Dr. Trick's specific areas of expertise are human visual electrophysiology, clinical visual psychophysics, and retinal imaging.
