Pornsak Sriamornsak is now a Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Silpakorn University, Thailand. He completed his B.S. degree in pharmacy (Honors) and his M.S. degree in pharmacy from Mahidol University, Bangkok, in 1995 and 1997, respectively. In 2002, he received his Ph.D. degree from Charles Sturt University, Australia. He was awarded the Nagai Award Thailand for Research 2002 from Nagai Foundation Tokyo, Japan, Young Scientist Award 2004 from the Foundation for the Promotion of Science and Technology under the Patronage of his majesty the King, Thailand, and Thailand’s Postdoctoral Award 2004 from the Thailand Research Fund, Research Council Award: Research Award in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences (2005, 2009, and 2010) from National Research Council of Thailand. He also received the TRF-CHE-Scopus Researcher Award 2009 in Health Sciences, 2012 FAPA Ishidate Award for Pharmaceutical Research from Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA), 2012-2013 Thailand Distinguished Polymer Scientist from Polymer Society of Thailand, and National Distinguished Researcher Award 2013 in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from National Research Council of Thailand. Professor Sriamornsak's current researches focus on drug delivery system and dosage form design, application of biopolymer in pharmaceutics, and pharmaceutical nanotechnology. He is the author or coauthor of more than 130 research papers published in peer-reviewed international journals, 16 articles in national journals, and 18 books/book chapters. He has given over 300 presentations, invited lectures, and seminars in national/international conferences.
