Surajit Dey obtained his Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Missouri‐Kansas City, Kansas City, MO, USA. He is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Roseman University of Health Sciences, Henderson, NV, USA. He serves as an Advisory Editor of the International Journal of Pharma and Bio Sciences. He showed for the first time the expression of P-glycoprotein in the human cornea. He has been responsible for teaching clinical ophthalmology, immunology, biopharmaceutics, and pharmacokinetics. His current research involves development and characterization of human corneal epithelial cell culture grown on air-liquid interface as a model for ocular drug delivery studies. He also serves as reviewer for numerous journals.
