Mingce Long

Mingce Long is an Associate Professor in the School of Environmental science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees at the Harbin Institute of Technology in 1999 and 2001, respectively. Then he joined the Huaqiao University as a teacher assistant. After he got his Ph.D. degree at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2007, he joined this University in the next year. He had stayed in the Erlangen-Nurnberg University for photoelectrochemistry research during 2006-2007. His research interests include novel nanosemiconductor photocatalysts and their environmental applications, photoelectrochemical energy conversion, and advanced oxidation technology for environmental remediation. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers, one monograph, and one book chapter and holds 9 authorized Chinese patents. He has served on numerous scientific reviews. He is also a guest editor for a special issue of International Journal of Photoenergy. He is a Member of the China Material Research Society, the American Chemical Society, the Chinese Chemical Society, and the American Nano Society. He has been awarded as the “Thermo Fisher Young Researcher Academic New Artist” and has been selected in the SMC-New Artist Scholar Award Plan.
