Chung-Ming Chen

Chung‐Ming Chen received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA. He subsequently joined the Center for Biomedical Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, where he served as a Research Assistant Professor. He is currently a Professor at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, National Taiwan University. He is also the Associate Director of the Molecular Imaging Center, National Taiwan University, where he leads the Infrared Core Laboratory aiming to develop new IR imaging technologies for various medical applications. His research interests are in medical image analysis, computer‐aided diagnosis, IR medical Imaging, and bioinformatics. He had served as a Program Committee Member or an Organizing Committee Member for several international conferences. He is currently an Associate Editor of the Journal of Biomedical Engineering Applications, Basis, and Communications. He also sits in the editorial board of the Open Acoustics Journal. He has published more than 72 journal papers and 100 conference papers. He is a Member of the IEEE.
