User Biography : Prof Juncheng Hu Dr. Juncheng Hu is Professor of South-Central University for Nationalities and Key Laboratory of Catalysis and Materials Science of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission & Ministry of Education, Hubei Province. He was elected as Special Professor of Chutian Scholar Premium Plan sponsored by Hubei Province in 2011. Prof. Dr. Juncheng Hu was born in December, 1974 in China. He obtained his PhD degree on catalysis in the group of Prof. Jingfa Deng and Prof. Kangnian Fan from Fudan University, China, in 2003. After postdoctoral stay in the group of Prof. Avenilo Corma at Instituto de TecnologĂ­a QuĂ­mica (CSIC-Polytechnical University of Valencia), Valencia, Spain, from 2004 to 2005, and in the group of Prof. Ryan Richards at Jacobs University Bremen, Germany and at Colorado School of Mines, USA, from 2006 to 2008, he became a research group leader and Professor of the College of Chemistry and Materials Science, South-Central University for Nationalities, China, in 2008. His research is in the fields of catalysis, surface modification and self-assembly. He has published more than 50 papers and filed 6 patents, during his a long time research in synthesis, characterization and catalytic properties of the catalysts, reaction mechanism and products distribution. In recent a few years, he has obtained 8 projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education and Hubei Province.
