Charanjeet Singh received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electronics and communication engineering from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab, India, and M.S. degree in electronics product design and technology from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, India. Singh is a Professor and Head (electronics and communication engineering) at Rayat Bahra Institute of Engineering and Nanotechnology, Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India. His research interests include ferrites covers synthesis, characterization, complex permeability and permittivity, microwave absorption, hysteresis, thermoelectric studies, and impedance spectroscopy. He is the recipient of young scientist award from International Union of Radio Science (URSI) during conference held at Toyama, Japan, in 2010. He has research publications in referred journals like Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley. He has written a book on microwave ferrites with Lambert Publishers, Germany, in 2012. He is Reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, Elsevier Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, Journal of Materials Chemistry and Physics, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, and Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids. He is a Member of Program Committee for International Conference on Materials for Dielectric Applications (10–12 September 2014), Wroclaw, Poland. Singh is a Member of Editorial Board for Hindawi Indian Journal of Materials Science, USA. He got research travel grants from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi, India.
