Rajesh K. Sharma received a Ph.D. degree in medical sciences from Lund University, Lund, Sweden, an M.S. degree in surgery of ophthalmology, University of Meerut, New Delhi, India, and an M.D. degree, Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India. Sharma is an Assistant Professor and Director of Research at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville, Jacksonville, Fla, USA, an Instructor of ophthalmology, University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, Tenn, USA, a Lecturer of ophthalmology, University of Pune, India, a Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and University of Tennessee, USA, and a Senior Resident of ophthalmology, University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. Sharma had the internship in Sinai-Grace Hospital, Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University, Detroit, Mich, USA. Sharma’s academic interests focus on regenerative medicine and biomarkers. Sharma has published more than 50 peer-review original research articles and invited reviews and several book chapters. Sharma is an Ad Hoc Editor/Reviewer in several internationally reputed peer-review journals, including IOVS, EER, PLoS One, Mol Vis, and Achieves of Ophthalmology.
