Iwona Gradzka

Iwona Gradzka obtained her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Biology (1980 and 1998, resp.). She was consecutively recruited for the Central Laboratory of Serums and Vaccines, Department of Biochemistry and Experimental Medicine at the Child Health Center, and Laboratory of Oncological Endocrinology at the Institute of Oncology in Warsaw. Presently, she serves as an Adjunct at the Centre of Radiobiology and Biological Dosimetry at the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology in Warsaw. Her areas of interest include cell radiobiology, genotoxic stress caused by radiation and chemical agents, double-strand DNA break repair, stress-induced cell signalization, intracellular transport, and cell death mechanisms.
