Radko Mesiar graduated in 1974 from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, in the theory of probability. Mesiar received D.S. degree from Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague, Czech Republic, in 1996, in cybernetics. Mesiar is a Full Professor at STU Bratislava since 1998. Since 2000, Mesiar is a Head of Department of Mathematics and Descriptive Geometry, Faculty of Civil Engineering, STU Bratislava. Mesiar is a author of about 270 contributions in cited in WOS and coauthor of two influential monographs triangular norms (Kluwer, 2000) and aggregation functions (Cambridge University Press, 2009). Mesiar's fields of interest include uncertainty modeling, aggregation functions, generalized measures and integrals, fuzzy logic, copulas, and multicriteria decision support. Mesiar is a Fellow Member of IFSA, Board Member of EUSFLAT, and Honorary Member of VANkU. Mesiar is Editor of Fuzzy Sets and Systems and Information Sciences and Member of editorial board in 7 other international journals.
