Jun Hu

Jun Hu received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electromagnetic field and microwave technique from the UESTC, in 1995, 1998, and 2000, respectively. He is a Full Professor at the School of Electronic Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China. He is IEEE Senior Member and Member of Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society. He also serves as Chairman of Student Activities Committee at IEEE Cheng du Section and Chairman of IEEE Chengdu AP/EMC Joint Chapter (2014-2015). From March to August 2010, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Electroscience Laboratory of Department of ECE of the Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA. He was Visiting Professor of City University of Hong Kong from February to March 2011. He is the author or coauthor of over 200 technical papers and was listed into “Who’s Who in the World” by Marquis. He received 2011 Si Chuan Young Scientist Award and 2005 Scientific Research and Progress Award by MoE (First Class). His current research interests include integral equation methods in computational electromagnetics, computer aided engineering, electromagnetic scattering, and radiation.
