Michael Föller

Michael Föller was born in Germany and studied biochemistry at the University of Tübingen, Germany. Also he studied medicine at the University of Tübingen, Germany, and at Yale University, New Haven, CT, USA. He received his M.D. and his Ph.D. degrees in biochemistry at the University of Tübingen, Germany. Currently, he is employed at the Institute of Physiology, University of Tübingen, Germany. His research interests focus on suicidal erythrocyte death, erythrocyte – thrombocyte interactions, regulation of cell membrane transport, and renal physiology and pathophysiology.
