Terry K. Koo received his B.Eng.(1st Hon) in Manufacturing Engineering, M.Phil. in Rehabilitation Engineering, and Ph.D. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1992, 1995, and 2002 respectively. He was a post-doctoral research fellow at Johns Hopkins University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University between 2002 and 2005. Dr. Koo joined New York Chiropractic College in 2006 as Assistant Professor and Director of Foot Levelers Biomechanics Research Laboratory and promoted to Associate Professor in 2011. His research interests cover the areas of musculoskeletal modeling; seating biomechanics, orthopedic biomechanics, stroke rehabilitation, fracture fixation and reduction, and applications of ultrasound bioinstrumentations to manual therapy related research.
