David C. Adamson

David C. Adamson received the M.D. and Ph.D. degrees at Johns Hopkins University, Md, USA, in 1998, followed by an M.P.H. degree at the same university in 1999. Adamson then completed neurosurgical training and a neurooncology fellowship at Duke University, Durham, NC, USA, in 2005, where he stayed on as staff. Currently, Adamson is an Associate Professor of neurosurgery and neurobiology at Duke, Chief of Neurosurgery at the Durham VA Medical Center, and Director of the Molecular Neuro-oncology Laboratory at Duke. He performs general adult neurosurgery with a focus on brain tumors. His clinical and laboratory interests are largely centered on brain tumors.
