Michael G. Gravett

Michael G. Gravett is a Professor and the Vice Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Washington. He received his Medical degree from UCLA and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and Fellowships in maternal-fetal medicine and infectious diseases/Immunology at the University of Washington. His research interests center on the relationship among obstetrical infections, preterm births, and stillbirths on a global level. He has served as the President of the Infectious Diseases Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology. He currently serves as the Scientific Director for the Global Alliance to Prevent Prematurity and Stillbirth, an initiative of Seattle Children’s.
