Hiroko Tabunoki

Hiroko Tabunoki received the Ph.D. degree in March 2005 from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Tokyo, Japan. She was Doctor Course Student Research Fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) from April 2004 to March 2005 and Ph.D. Research Fellow of JSPS from April 2005 to March 2006 in Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Tokyo, Japan (advisor: Professor Ryoichi Sato, Ph.D.). Since April 2006, she has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Bioinformatics, Meiji Pharmaceutical University, Tokyo, Japan. Her areas of expertise are neuroscience, insect molecular biology and biochemistry, comparative genomics, and microarray data analysis. She has membership in the academic societies of Societies for Neuroscience (Washington, DC,USA), Japanese Society for Bioinformatics, The Japanese Society for Neuroimmunology, The Japanese Biochemical Society, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan, Japanese Society for Immunology, and Societas Neurologica Japonica.
