Associate Professor Department of Orthopaedic Surgery Seoul National University College of Medicine Seoul Metropolitan Goverment Seoul National University Boramae Medical Center 41 Boramae-Gil, Dongjak-Gu, Seoul, 156-707, Korea Secretary and Treasurer Elect, Korean Orthopaedic Association My clinical work covers spine surgery and I am particularly interested in minimal invasive spine surgery (endoscopic discectomy, microendoscopic discectomy, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, minimal invasive fusion surgery, cervical artificial disc replacement). Most of my clinical work is on the common spine conditions such as spinal stenosis, HIVD in lumbar and cervical spine, osteoporotic vertebral fracture, tumor and trauma. For the basic research, my works focus on the biomaterials such as bone graft substitute using in vitro and in vivo study. I am also conducting the musculoskeletal stem cell research.
