Edward Mikuli

Edward Mikuli was born on October 13, 1945, in Kraków, Poland. He obtained his M.S. degree in chemistry, his Ph.D. degree, and his D.S. degree, all from Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland, in 1969, 1976, and 1997, respectively. In 2007, he served as a Full Professor of chemical sciences at Jagiellonian University. He occupied the post of Head of the Chemical Physics Department, Faculty of Chemistry, Jagiellonian University. His experiments deal with IR, RS, NMR, neutron scattering spectroscopes, calorimetry, thermal analysis, and X-ray and neutron diffraction and investigate phase transitions mainly in mixed organic-inorganic ionic coordination compounds. He is the coauthor of 80 publications in international scientific journals and in 16 books.
