Giancarlo Pascali

Giancarlo Pascali obtained his Ph.D. degree at ISUFI (University of Salento, 2004, Lecce, Italy). He collaborated with several institutions (e.g., NIH CC, Milano Policlinico, Eckert & Ziegler, IFC-CNR Pisa) in nuclear medicine related projects, mainly in the field of PET imaging and radiopharmaceutical production. In 2013 he was appointed in ANSTO (Sydney, Australia) as the Radiochemistry Team Leader at the Camperdown cyclotron site. His interests cover novel radiofluorination technologies, new 11C chemistry, microfluidic innovation, process automation, continuous processing, nuclear imaging studies, theranostics optimization, pretargeting approaches, and nanomaterials for drug delivery.
