Danilo De Donno

Danilo De Donno was born in Lecce, Italy, in 1983. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees (cum-laude) in Telecommunication Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2005 and 2008 respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Information Engineering in 2012 at The University of Salento, Lecce, Italy. From July to December 2011 he was a visiting researcher at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of The Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He is currently Post-Doc at the Innovation Engineering Department of The University of Salento. His research interests include the design of parallel electromagnetics algorithms on graphics processors (GPUs), RFID systems, Computational RFID (CRFID), and Software-Defined Radio experimentation.
