Uday Mukhopadhyay

Uday Mukhopadhyay received his Ph.D. degree in inorganic chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, in June 1999. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Houston, Houston, Tex, USA. From 2000 to 2002, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Tex, USA, and from 1999 to 2000, a Postdoctoral Fellow, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. His research interests include extensive inorganic and organic synthesis, analytical characterization, and data interpretation skills; production, QA/QC; 1D and 2D NMR for proton, 19F NMR, and 195Pt NMR analyses; structural analysis of the small inorganic and organic molecules by X-ray single crystal diffractometer; analytical method development and validation for HPLC, GC, GC/MS, radio TLC, and other techniques; sample preparation and trace level analyses of chemical, radiochemical, and biological samples; purification of the final drugs and radiochemical products by preparative HPLC; quality control checking on finished product; and metabolite analysis of the biological sample using HPLC and LC-MS.
