Zongli Xu

Zongli Xu works as a Staff Scientist at the National Institute of Health. Xu received a Ph.D. degree in statistical genetics at Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou, China, in 2002. His research involves both methodology and application studies in genetic epidemiology. Much of his methodological work is to develop bioinformatics methods and software tools to facilitate genetic epidemiology study. His applied work is mainly focused on human carcinogenesis. For the last few years, his emphasis has been on the role of epigenetics in cancer development.
