Luca Di Tommaso, MD, is Assistant Professor of Pathology, Department of Biotechnology and Translational Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Milan, and Full pathologist at the Istituto Clinico Humanitas, Rozzano, Italy. He has been teaching Pathology to medical and biomedical students since 2004 and to post graduate medical schools of pathology, oncology and surgery since 2005. His clinical activity is mainly focused on cytology as weel as breast, thyroid and thymic pathology. His main field of research is liver pathology with emphasis on the detection of early cancerous conditions using tissue biomarkers. He collaborates with several international peer-review journals. He is author of 52 original articles in national and international journals indexed in PubMed.
