Gary Garcia Molina

Gary Garcia Molina received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland, in March 2001. From 2000 to March 2001, he worked for FASTCOM-TECHNOLOGIES (Lausanne, Switzerland) as a Software Developer for video surveillance. In April 2001, he joined the doctoral program of the Signal Processing Institute at EPFL. In July 2004, he obtained his Ph.D. degree for his work on electroencephalogram-based brain-computer interfaces. He then became a Software Development Leader of the startup company EMITALL (Montreux, Switzerland). He joined Philips Research Europe (Eindhoven, The Netherlands) in May 2005. Currently, he leads an activity aimed at developing practical brain-computer interfaces.
