Margarita Tecpoyotl Torres

Margarita Tecpoyotl Torres was born in Puebla, Mexico. She received the Electronics Engineering Diploma from the University of Puebla (BUAP), Mexico, in 1994, the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics, and Electronics (INAOE), Mexico, in 1997 and 1999, respectively. She works, since 1999, at the Research Center of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CIICAp) of the Autonomous University of Morelos (UAEM), Mexico, where she works as a currently a Full Professor. Her main research interests include MEMS, antenna design, and microwave devices. She is also interested in the development of educational programs. She serves also as a Member of the Mexican National System of Researchers SNI-I. In addition, she has two patents under checking.
