Jose Luis Royo

Jose Luis Royo received his Ph.D. degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Sevilla, Spain. Then he joined the Department of Structural Genomics at Neocodex Inc, a small technology-based company. Nowadays he works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Andalusian Centre for Developmental Biology,(CABD), a joint centre between the National Research Centre (CSIC) and the University Pablo de Olavide, in Seville (Spain). He also teaches microbiology at the faculty of Sciences as associated professor of the department of Molecular Biology and Biochemical Engineering. His area of expertise involves different aspects of gene transcription regulation in higher organisms, from gene association studies in patients-control series, to structural and functional genomics using mouse and zebrafish transgenic models.
